Test Automation Engineer

The role

As our Test Automation Engineer, you'll be a core part of the QA team, helping to build and maintain the automation framework that ensures we deliver excellent software. You’ll play a big role in improving the quality and consistency of our products, working closely with the development team in an Agile environment. Your expertise will help us spot and fix quality issues, so we can ship better products, more reliably, and with confidence.

What you will be doing

• Develop effective, reusable and maintainable test automation scripts.
• Work with product and engineering teams to plan, develop and execute test cases and suites.
• Contribute to test plan, test strategy for functional as well as non-functional requirements.
• Work with the team to develop automation framework using various design patterns and installing required packages.
• Integrate the test automation runs to CICD pipeline.
• Debug, review code for other team members and provide feedback.
• Develop and update automation scripts to ensure functional coverage.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure the best possible outcome.
• Stay abreast of industry software testing tools and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in writing and running test automation scripts.
• Strong experience in Web and API testing.
• Familiarity with tools like Cypress, Selenium, Protractor/WebdriverIO, BrowserStack, or similar.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Node.js, or other scripting/programming languages.
• Solid knowledge of Git, Agile development, and Jira.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or Bamboo..
• Exposure to Salesforce and the Finance domain.
