Leidos has an excellent opportunity for a Software Developer to support NASA's Human Health and Performance program. This position is located at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
This position requires an excellent working knowledge and proven history of Web design, application development and system administration. This role is responsible for maintaining Web pages and Web-based applications for the Space Radiation Analysis Group (SRAG), as well as designing and developing new web pages and software applications as the needs of the group change.
US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance are required.
Primary Duties:
- Responsible for several critical data streams from on-orbit assets that allow SRAG personnel to monitor space weather conditions 24/7
- Manage unexpected or novel challenges expeditiously by researching the problem and extrapolating solutions from similar problems
- Responsible for Web Applications, development, and Web server administration (IIS/Apache/ColdFusion)
- Responsible for Data Applications and Stand-Alone Application Development
- Responsible for Network/Firewall/Server Administration duties
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years' relevant experience, to include experience supporting NASA ISS.
- Experienced in MS Windows Server and Linux Systems Administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu) for moderately complex systems and application programming
- Skilled in the use of Web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript etc.)
- Proficient in ColdFusion (CFML), ASP.NET and Python languages, MS SQL Server and MySQL/Maria database management systems
- Skilled in the use of MS Visual Studio .NET programming including Visual C#, C++, and C
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Linux-based High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster management (OpenHPC/Slurm/Warewulf)

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
