As a full-stack software developer, you will be involved in all stages of the development: UI, architecture, implementation, testing, and code reviews. You will also participate in the deployment lifecycle and maintenance of the product. You may as well be in touch with customers should you want it.
Our product mixes front-end and back-end technologies. The technologies that you will use on a daily basis are:
- Backend: Python, video frameworks, machine learning frameworks
- Front end: JavaScript, CSS, React/Redux
- Deployment: Salt, Azure, AWS, Git
Because of the nature of our industry, we use a lot of technologies related to video and machine learning, but it's not necessary for you to be acquainted with them - what's important to us, is your willingness to learn quickly and continuously upskill yourself
What you’ll do:
- Without the list below being considered exhaustive, you will be assigned the following missions.
- Participate in the definition of the Solutions marketed by Backlight,
- Participate in the architecture,development, integration, testing and delivery of said Solutions,
- Occasionally lead vendor activities at the technical and project level,
- Occasionally ensure on-call monitoring periods on solutions in production.
Skills & knowledge you should possess:
- Required experience, competencies and specific skills/knowledge
- At least backend (Python) or Frontend (JavaScript) knowledge
