Role:                                Software Developer (Veeva/ Salesforce)

Work location:               Bridgewater, NJ

What you’ll do:

You will be working as a Veeva CRM Developer, designing and implementing custom Salesforce and Veeva solutions for the life sciences industry. You'll collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to create innovative solutions that leverage Salesforce and Veeva technologies to meet client needs.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers, workflows, and validation rules.

• Configure and customize Veeva CRM, including CLM, Vault integration, and other Veeva modules.

• Integrate Salesforce and Veeva with other systems using APIs and other integration methods.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce and Veeva.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• 4+ years of experience in Salesforce development

• 1+ years of experience with Veeva CRM configuration and customization

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL

• Experience with Veeva CRM modules such as CLM, Vault, and others relevant to the life sciences industry (e.g., PromoMats, Engage)

• Proficiency in integrating Salesforce and Veeva with other systems using APIs (REST, SOAP) and other integration methods

• Experience with Salesforce DX and other development tools

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Ideal Candidate Would Also Have: 

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant)

• Experience with Veeva Vault development

• Knowledge of life sciences industry regulations and compliance requirements

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Familiarity with data migration tools and processes
