Playtech's Sports Unit is looking for a proactive and experienced Software Developer- Backend Content. 

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will... 

• Be developing our Sportsbook product and applications.
• Implement new features and maintain production code.
• Design innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Be contributing to meaningful peer code reviews.
• Work in an agile development process.
• Be implementing unit tests. 

Qualifications

Components for success. You... 

• Have at least 2+ years of experience with Python.
• Bring previous experience with Linux/Unix. 
• Have an interest in Python and Open Source technologies.
• Show an ability to learn on the job and solve complex technical problems. 

You’ll get extra points for… 

• Solid experience with relational databases.
• Previous experience with highly technical environments and solving complex problems. 
• Experience in using Micro Services, RESTful APIs, message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ) and NoSQL datastores (e.g. MongoDB). 
• Experience in developing applications using non-blocking IO (event loops). 
• Experience with Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Previous commercial experience in the Igaming sector. 
• An outside interest in programming reflected by a blog/portfolio, GitHub, Bit Bucket profile or personal website.
