YOUR ROLE

Job Responsibilities:

• Should be a Software Architect responsible for Infotainment product development with Bluetooth and WiFi expertise across various platforms like Linux, QNX and Android.

• Should independently own the Infotainment SW architecture design on various infotainment platforms.

• Analyze customer requirements, internal requirement and standard requirement to create software architectural design.

• Ensure the creation of software design document from architectural design by partnering with stakeholders like system engineer, SW team, SWPL, IT&V, electrical engineer)

• Participate in software architectural and software design reviews

• Participate in competency design, customer design reviews and deep dive discussions for any challenges faced in design/issues

• Develop reuse strategy for the product/project

• Participate in Product Strategy and Architecture Planning and support of Product Roadmap Development

• Help start center for new business pursuits.

• Technical interface to customer and various internal departments.

• Single point of contact (technical) for team and external interfaces

• Working with potential suppliers for new and upcoming technologies for Infotainment products.

• Analysis and resolution of customer and internal reported systemic issues

• Be abreast with current technology trend in Infotainment Products and handle stakeholders & customer requests.

• Monitor Android Automotive trends, roadmaps and incorporate in product SW roadmap

• Should understand and involve in various Infotainment KPIs, responsible for BT, WiFi and other certification activities/process.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Experience/Skill Requisites:

• Vehicle level knowledge of Infotainment products and ECUs that communicate with Infotainment Head Unit

• At least 3+ years of experience as Infotainment Software/Product Architect with Bluetooth and WiFi expertise in Automotive Infotainment domain.

• Must have 8+ years of experience of software Architecture, design & development in Bluetooth and WiFi technologies.

• 5+ years of experience on Android Automotive OS

• Expertise in minimum Android 11/12 version and experience in Android Security policies.

• Latest Technology and trends in Android Automotive products

• Deep architecture and development level knowledge on Infotainment Products

• Excellent C, C++ and Java programming skills in Linux, QNX and Android platforms.

• Experience in Android platform w.r.t Architecture and development

• Experience in UML (Enterprise architect) & Agile. Hands on Experience with Bluetooth application software development to realize the feature set that includes HFP, PBAP, A2DP, MAP, SPP etc

• Should be able to analyze the Bluetooth Air Snifer logs using the Frontline or similar Bluetooth Protocol analyzer tools

• Exposure to Bluetooth open source Stack Integration to any given platforms and working knowledge of Bluetooth low energy protocol would be plus.

• Knowledge of Bluetooth as a technology and working experience in Bluetooth protocol (both Stack and profiles)

• Hands on Experience with developing Wi-Fi features such as Station Mode, AP mode and P2P mode using wpa_supplicant, wpa_cli, Hostapd, Hostapd_cli and ConnMan.

• Expertise in Android Wi-Fi Framework API usage, Android networking tools tcpdump, arp, dhcp, Netd, NetBoyd etc

• Expertise in Android networking stack like tcp, udp, iptables, firewall etc

• Good Understanding of protocol 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax certification andss debugging.

• Should be able to analyze the Wi-Fi Air Sniffer logs using the Wireshark or similar Wi-Fi Protocol analyzer tools.

• Hands on Experience with network utility configurations such as Dhcp , firewall and routing tables on any OS preferably Linux/QNX.

• Sound knowledge on Android WiFi framework, driver, HAL and tools, Myftm Mlanutil, iw ,iwpriv

• RED/FCC , WFA certification hands on experience.

• Working Experience in Agile development, ASPICE process adherence on Architecture and traceability.

• Strong debugging/trouble-shooting skills

• Good knowledge in designing software for memory & CPU constrained systems.

• Experience in integrating /porting various stacks/lib to the target.

• Good analytical, problem solving skills.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Highly self-motivated and energetic.

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics /Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation > 60% aggregate starting from Class X till UG/PG.

Experience: 10+ years and above of relevant experience
