Social Media Specialist (Contract)

The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in developing, executing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engage with our growing community. This position focuses on creating impactful content, fostering meaningful connections with audiences, and staying ahead of industry trends to drive the company’s marketing objectives forward.  

Responsibilities:  

• Develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with overall marketing strategies.  

• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.  

• Research and stay informed about emerging social media trends, providing relevant insights to improve marketing activities.  

• Partner with internal teams to stay updated on new products, features, and company updates.  

• Stay current with digital technology advancements and social media innovations.  

• Perform additional tasks as needed.  

Qualifications:  

• 1–3 years of social media management or prior marketing experience required.

• Proven ability to identify and target audiences with tailored marketing campaigns.  

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field preferred.  

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  

• Proficiency in multi-platform social media tools (e.g., Brandwatch) and strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  

• Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.  

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):  

• Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

• Passion for fintech and crypto, with a general knowledge of the industry. 

Base Hourly Range: $25 - $29 USD per hour

Please note, this is an open contractor role for a six month engagement.
