About the role
We're excited to welcome a Social Media & Communication Intern to our dynamic team. If you're passionate about organic social media, content creation, influencers, brand partnerships and communications, and possess excellent communication skills, you're the one we're looking for. We're particularly interested in someone eager to help build awareness for a DTC business with strong values and a customer-centric approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in creating and editing written, video, and photo content for oxio social channels.

Appearing in oxio social media videos (both EN & FR).

Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels and customer base content.

Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create a social media calendar.

Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.

Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.

Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer and partnership strategy.

Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.

Write, review and translate copy.

Assist with daily administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
ACADEMIC TRAINING

Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, or in a similar field.
QUALIFICATIONS

Strong desire to learn with professional drive.

Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written). The employee will collaborate with stakeholders outside of Quebec.

Comfortable being on camera for social media videos.

Proficiency with video and photo editing tools.

Experience with graphic design software (Canva/Figma).

Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools.

Excellent social listening skills.

Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space.

Strong copywriting and copy editing skills.
