You will own Social Content creation across multiple platforms and formats to drive engagement, views and community growth. The position collaborates with the Content Production, Brand, Partnerships and Commercial teams to help define the look and feel of content across Global social accounts. This is a unique opportunity to be a leading member of Myprotein's growing Social Media team, where you will be at the heart of our business impacting our content across multiple channels, including Myprotein, MP Activewear, MyVitamins and more. The Social Content Executive is responsible for the day-to-day ideation, creation, editing and delivery of new and existing content strandsThe role will report to the Social Content Manager and will work cross-functionally with the wider social team as well as cross-functions such as our brand and creative teams.  

As Social Content Executive, you will:

  • Create content for of all Social Media platforms (with a particular focus on TikTok and Instagram) 
  • Ideate and execute best in class social media content across brand campaigns.  
  • Develop high-quality, engaging content—including text, images, and videos—for various social media platforms. 
  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and appeals to our target audiences. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including designers, videographers, and marketing professionals, to produce cohesive and impactful content. 
  • Work closely with the Social Platform Management team to understand and act on market trends, user behaviour, new platform features, competitor activity and other relevant updates.  
  • Support on content risk management and quality control processes to protect the brand from potential controversy and/or anything else that might hinder our perception 
  • Flexibility towards out of hours and unsociable hours if required (Events coverage, social media monitoring etc.) 
  • Back-up support for community management, scheduling and social insight functions 

What skills/experience do I need for this role:

  • The ideal candidate is an expert in all things related to social content across short form video.
  • At least 1 years’ experience creating content for social media platforms 
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment  
  • Must be comfortable presenting concepts and ideas. 
  • The ability to work across multiple projects and manage tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent organisational and presentation skills 
  • Besides your social media background, you are passionate for fitness, content and storytelling 
  • Good copywriting skills and a good eye for design 
  • A demonstrated ability to craft social media content that people want to share and engage with 
  • Understanding of social media platforms including, but not limited to, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok. 
  • Able to manage and work production schedules and resources to deliver timely social content across platforms 
  • Knowledge in content creation platforms such as Canva, Adobe, Capcut and others.
