Job description and duties:
-Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
-Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
-Leads the design of network and computer security measures.
-Charged with research and recommendations affecting network and data communications hardware and software.
-Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.
-Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
-Interact with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
-Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
-Work with other program personnel such as engineers, developers, and testers.
-Communicate with Government and other mission partners.
-Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
-Analyze complex information and independently takes appropriate actions to resolve problems.
-Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners.
-Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers.
-Work complex research projects as senior contributors and as part of an integrated research team.
-Design and deliver solution.

Qualifications:
-Possess an Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph
-Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience
-Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline
-Exposure to Cloud/AWS
-Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
-Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
-Active CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification)
Compensation Spotlight:
