Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Lead to oversee fielding of our large-scale inspection systems along the US southern border. Responsible for all aspects of on-site work and coordination with stakeholders from construction kickoff through Government acceptance testing completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background; excellent communication, leadership, and logistics skills; and the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously in coordination and support of other Site Leads. Extensive travel required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the installation and commissioning of vehicle, cargo, and rail inspection systems as well as radiation detection systems.
- Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure equipment deliveries, work times and areas, schedule, and issues are coordinated, tracked, and addressed.
- Provide support to internal, customer, and subcontractor site-related requests and issues.
- Provide brief daily reports and regular communications with stakeholders.
- Be to go-to person on-site between all parties for these projects to coordinate information and drive resolution of issues.
- Coordinate timely delivery, track shipments, coordinate off loading and laydown areas of equipment supporting the inspection systems.
- Foster collaboration among team members to ensure successful equipment and system installations.
- Track schedule and plan ahead for approaching major milestones between stakeholders to meet program site objectives.
- Coordinate coverage and support between Site Leads to ensure sites have adequate support during times away from the site.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing technical teams, preferably in a construction, field service or installation environment.
- Ability to read drawings and understand technical documents (specifications, test plans, manuals, etc)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel 100% and/or commute to sites if local.
- Ability to work with Government local leadership to effectively manage expectations and concerns with minimal oversight and support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in technical field.
- Previous experience working remote on-site construction, installation, and/or testing
- PMP Certification

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
