KBR is seeking a junior to mid level SIGINT Systems Engineer with a background in Radio Frequency (RF) engineering to join our team in Chantilly, Va. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of RF design analysis, and testing, as well as experience integrating RF solutions into complex system architectures. This role involves, working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of technologies into larger systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. The selected candidate will serve as an advisor to the US Government supporting the definition of new mission requirements and overseeing the development of next-generation SIGINT systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate/maintain Program Concept of Operations with enterprise stakeholders

Review ground segment development activities
-
Monitor progress and adherence to cost/schedule
-
Provide support to engineers who monitor relevant external ground systems development for adherence to schedule and potential impacts to the program development and external interfaces

Participate in customer engagement for enterprise stakeholders to provide an understanding of active RF operations and end-to-end processes in support of these activities
-
Support the application development and traditional TCPED processes

Aid with Policy/Governance processes to include review and revisions

Be the lead administrator of the Program Demonstration/Working Group

Aid in maintaining the Program Demonstration Test Plan

Support coordination of mission support & tasking with program customers

Aid in technical evaluations of developer proposals

Participate in the adherence to SIGINT Mission Compliance Training for program personnel

Aid in the review of Program Compliance and Data Protection Plan

Review mission data files processed through to a customer repository for quality control and completeness

Qualifications:
Required:
-
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
-
3-5 years of experience in SIGINT systems engineering
-
Strong knowledge of SIGINT mission space and ground systems

Experience with system-to-system interfaces and integration
-
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and development teams

Analytical and problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Strong communication skills
-
Solid understanding of RF components such as antennas, filters; amplifiers mixers, and oscillators
-
Knowledge of RF safety standard and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles
