As a Short Form Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content using the Descript software. You will work closely with the creative team to produce high-quality short form videos that captivate audiences and drive marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize, edit, and produce engaging short form videos for various marketing campaigns
- Utilize Descript software to edit video content, including adding effects, transitions, and captions
- Work closely with the video production team to ensure the highest quality of visual and audio elements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques for short form content
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all video content aligns with the brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style
- Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video content
- Proven experience as a Short Form Video Editor or similar role
- Proficient in using Descript software for video editing
- Strong understanding of video editing principles and techniques
- Portfolio of previous short form video projects
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Work as an independent contractor (1099) with the flexibility to set your own hours.
