Qualification
- Strong leadership and good interpersonal communication skill.
- At least 8 to 10 years of safety, health and environmental management experience with at least 3 years in a senior management position.
- Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of SHE management.
- Familiar with domestic/international Law, regulation on safety, health and environmental.
- Good command in English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self motivated, highly integrity and preciseness.
Job Description
- Lead facilitate the implementation of corporate safety procedure/standards to support elements of SHE management system.
- Monitor and measures organizational compliance to SHE requirements.
- Develop and conduct training for relevant functions within the business organization ensuring that all personnel are VOPAK and trained appropriately for the terminal hazards and procedures.
- To advise and ensure that all statutory safety, health and environment and security regulations and requirements as well as Vopak minimum standards and Jakarta Tank Terminal SHE management system are effectively implemented at the terminal.
- To develop and maintain a good management information system to support the documentation required by SHEQ functions.
- To advise the project department and the terminals on compliance to all safety, health, environmental and security regulations and requirements.
- To monitoring waste management based on regulation
- To advise management during a site crisis or emergency response.
- To maintain good relationship with related government and external agencies for mutual assistance and exchange of information and experience.
- To maintain good relationship with SHE and security professionals from similar industries for mutual experience and information sharing.
- To ensure that the right type of fire, safety, security and environmental control equipment is acquired by all terminals.
- To ensure all crisis & emergency response plans, SHE manual and guides are regularly updated. Crisis & emergency response plans are regularly tested.
- To support corporate & regional SHE directions and initiatives.
- This role is also function as Management Representative.
- Have safety talks in the field during SOR’s; directly take corrective actions if needed; make a clear report in Enablon.
- Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents and accident immediately to Team Leader and SHEQ Manager and create a clear Enablon report with detailed description and pictures (if possible).
- Approach colleagues, management, contractors and third parties and give feedback on their (safety) behaviour.
- Initiate and follow-up improvements in the area of SHEQ.
