Job Description:
Dynamo has an opening for a SharePoint/Power Platform Developer responsible for supporting DLA’s broader Modernization effort, with agile, rapid-application capability maturity and prototyping effort.
Duties/ Responsibilities
The SharePoint Developer/Power Platform Developer is tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that leverage SharePoint and the Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) to meet business needs. This role demands expertise in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell scripting, and client-side development, alongside proficiency in Power Platform technologies to create efficient and effective solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, the developer translates business requirements into scalable solutions, conducts thorough testing and optimization, and provides training and support to end-users to ensure maximum utilization of the solutions for enhanced productivity and collaboration. They play a crucial role in driving digital transformation, streamlining processes, and empowering organizations to thrive in today's competitive landscape.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Development: Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions including custom web parts, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and integration with other systems. Develop Power Platform solutions including canvas apps, model-driven apps, flows, and dashboards.
- Customization: Customize SharePoint sites, pages, and forms using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Apps, and other customization tools to enhance user experience and meet business needs.
- Integration: Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft and third-party applications using APIs, connectors, and custom code as necessary.
- Governance: Ensure adherence to SharePoint and Power Platform governance policies, best practices, and standards. Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, configuration guides, deployment instructions, and support documentation.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and administrators on using SharePoint and Power Platform solutions effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on latest trends, features, and updates in SharePoint and Power Platform technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization of existing solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
- Proficient with SharePoint
- Experience using Power Platform
- U.S Citizenship required

- Proven track record of timely, accurate and complete work, independently managing multiple tasks with changing timelines and deliverables
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, oral and written communication skills
- Adaptability and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with various staff levels and teams across the agency, including technical teams
- Possess and demonstrate the interpersonal and leadership skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
Education and Experience:
- Four (4) years relevant experience
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority
Travel Requirement:
