The Support Engineer plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance and resolving escalated issues related to Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint Online. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting complex problems, ensuring efficient and effective solutions. Additionally, the Support Engineer is responsible for escalating unresolved issues to the Director or Lead promptly to prevent delays and ensure continuity of service. The team includes Development Engineers and Administrators, with whom the Support Engineer collaborates closely to maintain system performance and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve escalated technical issues related to SharePoint Online and M365 Power Platform applications and services.
  • Work on M365 Power Platform projects as needed.
  • Perform analysis of IT processes to identify deficiencies impacting IT efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields, or the equivalent in software development work experience.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in an enterprise Information Technology team working across all aspects including architecture, development, project implementation, and operations.
  • Collaborate with Level 1 & 3 support and other teams to provide timely solutions.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with M365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive) at an Enterprise level.
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to triage tickets raised in a timely manner.
  • Basic understanding of Power Platform Development including but not limited to Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages.
