This position is responsible for tracking, coordination and payment reconciliation of bulk, mini-bulk and flow servicing transfer transactions between Plaza sub-servicers and new servicers and/or their designated sub-servicers. This role is full-time and is non-exempt. This position has no supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Vice-President of Loan Servicing.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide service release profiles for new investors and services to Plaza sub-servicers
- Coordinate communication between new servicer and sub-servicers on scheduled service releases
- Timely communication with new servicers/investors, borrowers and other authorized parties regarding missing mortgage and escrow payment/discrepancies
- Reconcile and collect payments due to Plaza
- Reconcile and refund payments due to new servicer
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Education
- 1+ years in a mortgage servicing environment
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA and Private Investor guidelines
- Proficiency with computers and software such as Mircosoft Office (Excel, V-lookups, sum-if and other formulas, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in a team-oriented environment
- Capability of handling and meeting deadlines, and prioritizing in fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- 1+ years in a mortgage servicing environment
- Knowledge of mortgage accounting, investor reporting and cash management processes and procedures
