As a premier asset manager within the SF Portfolio and Servicing division, this senior leadership role oversees a team of asset managers responsible for ensuring customer performance exceeds established goals and adheres to all compliance standards outlined in the servicing guide.

Your Impact:
As a Sr. Director on this team your areas of responsibility will closely align with these four areas:
Portfolio Management

Act as a premier asset manager of the Freddie Mac portfolio and drive execution of tactics and strategies to mitigate the reduction of credit losses

Develop and manage execution of corporate and department policies and risks and controls
-
Collaborate with department leaders to develop servicing guide policies that would focus on driving down credit losses and creating optimized outcomes for Freddie Mac
-
Create performance plans that drive servicer performance to Freddie Mac standards
-
Monitor servicing portfolio for risks to FRE including operational/performance risk
-
Manage partnership with Counterparty Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) and ensure remediation goals are met
-
Continuously seek ways to innovate processes that includes the usage of FM technology tools along with industry technology
-
Manage new servicer onboarding process that aligns with seller engagement goals while managing counterparty risk
-
Advise strategic work groups and business units on servicer strategies, performance updates and risks
Relationship Management
-
Create and maintain a positive and constructive working relationship with servicing counterparties
-
Be an escalation point for servicers into Freddie Mac
-
Facilitate executive strategy meetings with servicers and internal partners
Leadership
-
Oversight of asset managers to ensure each servicer meets performance goals
-
Create, execute and monitor department goals
-
Grow and develop your team of direct reports using core competencies and business objectives

Maintain cross divisional partnerships to meet business objectives
-
Actively participates in SRPM management reporting activities
Program Management
-
Acts as the department liaison for all audits including FHFA.

Works cross divisionally with other leaders to establish strategic goals that will enable us to mitigate credit losses and drive positive engagement with industry partners

Represents department for internal and external speaking engagements.

Provides thought leadership on behalf of SF leadership for portfolio management team (servicer ratings, industry insights)

Responsible for driving strategic engagements with CX team (servicer outreach and industry insights)

Actively participates in planning discussions for servicing tool updates and redesign

Create and lead servicing councils that will lead to more innovation of servicing programs and policies
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree Preferred
-
15 Years’ experience in mortgage servicing and real estate finance industry
-
Must have 8 years of supervising both mid-level managers and directors.

Demonstrated ability to interact with executives and all levels of management (internally and externally)
-
Must be proficient in commonly used software packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Must have strong communications and presentation skills
-
Knowledge of servicing systems and related technologies
-
Must have a strong level of understanding identifying and controlling business risks
-
Must have broad understanding of mortgage company operational structures
-
30-50% travel will be required

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $181,000 - $271,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
