Cask is seeking a high-performing, results-oriented individual to assist our clients in adopting and adapting Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) best practices in the most efficient and effective way ensuring maximum return on their investment. The ideal candidate will possess a broad and deep technical understanding of the ServiceNow Platform with specific focus on the applications in the Strategic Portfolio Management Suite of Products, and be able to drive the best solutions for customers, working with Cask business consultants, product engineers, and clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Service Portfolio Management (SPM), providing technical guidance to Cask’s delivery team, customers, and stakeholders.
- Support business process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis in collaboration with key customer sponsors and stakeholders, working alongside Cask SPM Business Consultants.
- Design, configure, test, document, and deploy ServiceNow platform solutions to meet business needs.
- Provide technical insights and solutioning to optimize customer experience and maximize value.
- Act as the primary liaison with customers, addressing operational concerns, system health, and planning for patches/upgrades.
- Ensure consistency in tool configuration across development, testing, and production environments.
- Implement and enhance ServiceNow modules based on business requirements, staying updated on new capabilities and technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Oversee or execute configuration, reporting, and workflow administration to support business processes.
- Develop testing strategies, test cases, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
- Create and maintain technical architecture and specification documents.
- Conduct code walkthroughs, ensuring adherence to Cask coding standards and best practices.
- Bridge communication between business and technical teams, managing process, business, and technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions align with customer expectations.
- Prepare technical documents, analyses, and briefings for various business management and technology delivery functions (e.g., Financial Management, Business Planning, Innovation, Demand & Resource Management, Agile Development, Test & Release Management).
- Proactively meet deadlines for key project deliverables, including user stories, technical design documents, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Collaborate with Cask business consultants, client owners, and managers to drive process improvements within the SPM toolset.
- Build strong customer relationships, delivering customer-centric solutions and enabling clients to envision new possibilities on the ServiceNow platform.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Extensive Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, with a specialized focus on the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) suite, including Financial Management, Business Planning Portal, Alignment Planner, Innovation, Demand, Resource, Time, Project, Program, Portfolio Management, Agile Development, and Test & Release Management.
- ServiceNow Administration: 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
- IT & IS Experience: 5+ years of success in Information Technology and Information Systems, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration among team members, customers, and key decision-makers.
- Core Competencies: Authenticity, self-awareness, resilience, and intellectual curiosity.
- Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM): Deep understanding of SPM practice capabilities (domain knowledge preferred).
- Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Required)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM (Preferred)
- ITIL Certifications (Preferred)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Productivity Suite.

Note: Base salary range is $160,000 to $190,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
