Cask is seeking a high-performing, results-oriented individual to assist our clients in adopting and adapting SPM / APM best practices in the most efficient and effective way ensuring maximum return on their investment. The ideal candidate will possess a broad and deep technical understanding of the ServiceNow Platform with specific focus on the applications in the Strategic Portfolio Management Suite of Products, and be able to drive the best solutions for customers, working with Cask business consultants, product engineers, and clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Actively participate in workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders to define, re-engineer, and improve business processes, as well as identify gaps in current and future workflows. Support Cask’s SPM/APM Business Consultants in delivering transformative solutions.
  • Design and Deploy Solutions: Design, configure, test, document, and deploy ServiceNow platform solutions, ensuring alignment with customer goals and business needs.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Offer strategic technical insights to optimize the customer experience and maximize the value of proposed solutions.
  • Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for operational concerns, system health, and planning for patches or upgrades, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Ensure Configuration Consistency: Maintain consistent tool configuration across development, testing, and production environments to safeguard quality and reliability.
  • Platform Implementation and Enhancement: Implement and enhance the ServiceNow platform and its modules to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Stay Ahead of Innovations: Continuously explore and adopt new ServiceNow capabilities and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
  • Bridge Business and Technical Requirements: Translate business needs into technical requirements and oversee their execution to ensure proposed solutions meet customer expectations.
  • Optimize Workflow and Reporting: Manage platform configurations, reporting, and workflow administration to align with business processes and objectives.
  • Develop and Document Testing Strategies: Formulate robust testing approaches, create detailed test cases, and ensure thorough documentation of outcomes.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical architecture designs, specifications, and process documentation to guide successful implementations.
  • Ensure Coding Standards: Conduct or participate in code reviews to maintain compliance with Cask’s coding standards and best practices.
  • Deliver Excellence in Financial & Project Management: Support business management and technology delivery processes for areas like Financial Management, Business Planning, Alignment Planner, Agile Development, Test & Release Management, and more.
  • Meet Project Deadlines: Proactively deliver project milestones, including user stories, technical designs, and knowledge transfer documentation, on time.
  • Collaborate on Process Improvements: Partner with Cask business consultants and client stakeholders to identify and implement improvements in the SPM toolset.
  • Foster Strong Customer Relationships: Build trust and deliver customer-focused solutions, enabling clients to unlock the full potential of the ServiceNow platform.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Expertise in ServiceNow Platform: Proven technical knowledge and hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, specializing in the Strategic Portfolio Management suite. This includes expertise in modules like Financial Management, Business Planning Portal, Alignment Planner, Innovation, Demand, Resource, Time, Project, Program, Portfolio Management, Application Portfolio Management, Agile Development, Test Management, and Release Management.

  • Professional Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of ServiceNow Administration experience.
    • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology and Information Systems.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills:

    • Skilled in effectively communicating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with team members, customers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Key Personal Attributes:

    • Demonstrates authenticity, self-awareness, resilience, and a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Strategic Portfolio Management Knowledge:

    • Domain expertise in Strategic Portfolio Management capabilities is highly valued.
  • Certifications:

    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification required.
    • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-PPM or CIS-APM) certifications are a strong advantage.
    • ITIL certifications are considered a plus.
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Productivity Suite, with a focus on advanced tools and features to enhance productivity and efficiency.
