Purpose of the Position:
This incumbent will be reporting to the SEO Manager and involve implementing effective SEO strategies to drive audience growth and organic traffic of our Magazines and community platforms. It includes monitoring and communicating SEO performance, analyzing data for insights and recommendations, staying updated with SEO trends, conducting keyword research and competitor analysis, performing site audits, and designing best practice documents.
In this role, you will:
- Implement effective SEO strategy to drive audience growth and organic traffic
- Communicate and monitor SEO performance progress with Magazines content team internally
- Analyse and recommend key insights and appropriate actions on regular basis
- Keep up-to-date with SEO trends and organize sharing in effective formats
- Develop and enhance data analytics and reporting to effectively monitor SEO performance
- Review the performance of affiliate articles and provide data-driven suggestions for content and SEO optimization.
- Design and update best practice documents, provide advice on SEO techniques and strategies to elevate the overall skillset internally
- Perform and experiment new initiatives to optimise performance and drive future growth
Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
- Degree holder with major in Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies, Business, Information Technology or related discipline
- 1 year working experience in SEO
- Knowledge in SEO best practices and content marketing strategies
- Experienced in SEO technical audit and/or content audit are preferred
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush) and analytical platform (Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
- Basic knowledge of web development technology (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Highly attentive to detail, strong analytical, critical & strategic thinking ability as well as strong communication, organisational and presentation skills
Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office
