The SEO Specialist is a dynamic and versatile role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase conversions. This position requires expertise across technical SEO, content optimization, link-building, and analytics, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve measurable results.

In this role we are seeking an individual that can perform essential duties of the job outlined below, while also willing to accept special projects as business demands and shifts happen.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development

  • Build and implement data-driven SEO strategies tailored to business goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SEO efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

Content Optimization

  • Provide strategic content recommendations for landing pages, blogs, and other web assets to maximize organic visibility.
  • Ensure on-page optimization through effective use of metadata, headers, internal linking, and structured data.
  • Review and refine existing content for improved keyword targeting and alignment with user intent.

Keyword Research

  • Perform in-depth keyword research using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner.
  • Identify high-value keywords and map them to appropriate landing pages for optimal performance.
  • Monitor keyword rankings and adjust strategies based on trends and analytics insights.

Technical SEO

  • Conduct regular technical audits to identify issues affecting crawlability, indexation, or site performance.
  • Optimize website architecture, page speed, mobile usability, schema markup, and URL structures.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues such as broken links, duplicate content, or JavaScript rendering challenges.

Link-Building Strategies

  • Develop effective link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority.
  • Execute outreach programs to secure high-quality backlinks from reputable sources.
  • Monitor backlink profiles to ensure compliance with Google’s guidelines and mitigate risks of penalties.

E-E-A-T Compliance

  • Ensure content adheres to Google’s E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trustworthiness) guidelines for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with the in-house content manager to maintain high standards for accuracy and relevance in published materials.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track website performance using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), or Screaming Frog.
  • Create monthly reports that include actionable insights on traffic trends, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and competitive positioning.
  • Use predictive analytics to identify opportunities for growth and mitigate risks from algorithm updates or market changes.
  • Upload data to keep reporting updated when necessary across the department.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of driving organic growth.
  • Strong expertise in keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) and analytics platforms (GA4).
  • Proficiency in WordPress or similar CMS platforms; Elementor experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS; knowledge of JavaScript for SEO purposes.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO tools like Screaming Frog audits and diagnostics.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing local SEO campaigns and optimizing Google Business Profiles (GBP). (Implement local keywords and schema markup on-site, experience with (GBP), Yelp, and other directories, along with an understanding of NAP data
  • Background in link-building strategies.
  • Knowledge of UX principles and CRO as they relate to SEO performance improvements.
  • Strong knowledge in Google Analytics or related reporting platforms.

Salary Range:
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000–$70,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills. Compensation will be finalized based on the selected candidate's demonstrated capabilities and fit for the role.
