Description:
As we expand our expertise in AI growth marketing, we are looking for a Technical SEO Marketing Manager who is obsessed with performance SEO, search visibility, and organic growth strategy. This role is pivotal in scaling our SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) capabilities across both NoGood and our clients, ensuring that our strategies lead to measurable revenue impact. This is not a standard SEO role—it’s for someone who thrives in technical problem-solving, analytics, and organic growth strategy while pushing the boundaries of AI search. You will take ownership of multiple brand’s search and technical SEO strategies, working cross-functionally with engineers, growth strategists, content teams to boost brands visibility, search performance, and organic growth outcomes
You’ll do:
- SEO & AEO Strategy: Develop and execute a technical SEO, organic growth, and AEO strategy to increase organic traffic and visibility across traditional search engines (Google, Bing) and AI-powered search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini).
- Technical SEO Execution: Partner with development teams to implement technical SEO recommendations, optimize site architecture, improve page speed, resolve indexing issues, and enhance structured data usage.
- Content & Landing Page Optimization: Work closely with content strategists and performance marketers to develop high-converting, SEO-driven landing pages optimized for organic search and paid search synergy.
- AI & Search Experimentation: Continuously test and experiment with AI-driven SEO strategies, leveraging tools like Goodie AI to optimize content for AI search algorithms.
- Site & CMS Management: Maintain and optimize NoGood’s and clients’ web properties using Webflow, WordPress, and other CMS platforms, ensuring best practices for SEO and technical performance.
- SEO Analytics & Reporting: Own SEO analytics and build robust reporting dashboards in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush to measure and optimize search performance.
- CRO & UX Collaboration: Work with designers and developers to enhance UX and conversion rate optimization (CRO), ensuring technical and on-page SEO supports business growth.
- AI & Automation Integration: Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation in SEO workflows, from keyword clustering to content optimization and search analysis.
You have:
- Proven SEO Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO strategy, technical SEO, and content optimization, with a demonstrated track record of growing organic traffic and improving search performance.
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge required; deeper expertise is a plus) to diagnose and fix SEO-related development issues.
- AI & AEO Enthusiasm: Passion for AI-powered search and a strong understanding of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) principles.
- Analytics & Data Skills: Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and data visualization tools to drive insights and reporting.
- CMS & Web Experience: Experience managing and optimizing websites on Webflow, WordPress, or other CMS platforms, ensuring they are technically sound and search-optimized.
- Performance SEO Mindset: Deep focus on SEO as a revenue-driving channel beyond rankings—understanding search performance’s impact on business goals.
- Experimentation & CRO Knowledge: Experience running SEO A/B tests, analyzing performance metrics, and iterating on landing pages to improve search rankings and conversions.
- Collaborative & Growth-Oriented: Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, content strategists, and performance marketers to execute high-impact SEO strategies.
Nice to have:
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js) and their SEO implications.
- Hands-on experience with AI content optimization tools or AI-based search experiments.
- Experience working with large-scale, multi-location SEO strategies (e.g., SaaS, marketplaces, enterprise SEO).
- Experience with data-driven SEO modeling and forecasting for growth projections.

NoGood complies with federal, state, and local laws on compensation, pay transparency, and pay equity. We take factors including geographic location, education, training, skillset, market rates, certifications, and more into consideration when constructing pay ranges for new and existing roles within our organization. The compensation range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 base pay plus bonus.
