Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and analytical SEO Analyst to help launch its SEO strategy. Reporting to the head of SEO and working closely with the Content team, you will help build out both top and bottom funnel areas of the site, be responsible for combining technical SEO expertise with advanced data analysis techniques. This role will focus on building scalable solutions to optimize search performance, improve user engagement, and enhance conversion rates. You will leverage APIs and develop ETL processes to streamline workflows, integrate data from multiple sources, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Data Integration & ETL Processes:
- Develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines to integrate data from APIs, databases, and third-party tools into centralized dashboards.
- Automate data collection, transformation, and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and ensure data accuracy.
- API Utilization & Data Access:
- Leverage APIs to extract data from tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others.
- Build custom API integrations to enable real-time data availability for SEO analysis and reporting.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker Studio.
- Create interactive dashboards to visualize SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
- Conduct in-depth trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies.
- Predictive Analysis & Forecasting:
- Develop predictive models to forecast organic traffic and revenue growth based on historical performance data.
- Use data-driven insights to inform content strategies and align SEO goals with broader business objectives.
- A/B Testing & CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization):
- Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate the impact of SEO and content changes on traffic and conversion rates.
- Analyze results to optimize website elements, such as CTAs, layouts, and load times, to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
- SEO Strategy & Execution:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and map keywords to user intents to guide content creation.
- Develop and execute on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve rankings and organic traffic.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical SEO issues, implement structured data, and optimize site architecture.
- Competitive & Industry Analysis:
- Perform competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to adapt strategies proactively.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in SEO and data analysis, with a proven track record of driving organic growth.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and working with APIs for data extraction and integration.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
- Expertise in predictive modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with A/B testing tools and CRO frameworks.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, keyword intent mapping, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools like ChatGPT for content optimization and trend prediction.
- Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or related fields.
- Experience managing SEO for large-scale or content-heavy websites.
Total Compensation:
The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $80,000 USD to $115,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
