Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a AVE IATC MBSE Lead. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel – Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
• The selected candidate will join Sentinel's Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Integration and Test (I&T) Team to perform integrated test planning for all AVE Test and Evaluation (T&E).
• Lead the development of all AVE T&E Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architecture and content in Cameo.
• Ensure the Cameo architecture and content are sufficient to bounds the T&E program and to quantify residual risk so that risk analysis can be done proactively to mitigate through the overall test strategy or accepted by the appropriate decision authority.
• Correlate all allocated requirements to the T&E event(s) where verification will occur.
• Use Cameo to produce logical and sequential flows of all AVE T&E events, objectives, limitations, and deferrals to enable the identification and elimination of T&E voids and duplications (i.e., gaps and overlaps).
• Collaborate with various IPTs to ensure planning and execution of all test phases and events provide sufficient data to support independent analysis, evaluation, and reporting for all stakeholders.
• Position requires knowledge of system engineering, and system I&T principles.
Candidate will be expected to lead, grow, develop, and mentor fellow systems and test engineers.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 7 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of MBSE principals and experience using Cameo.
-
Direct experience using the DOORS requirements management database.
-
Knowledge of system-level integration and test principles, test plan development, to include functional testing and checkout, and knowledge of requirements verification and validation.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

Experience with Space and Missile Systems Center standards: SMC-S-016, SMC-S-006, SMC-S-020, SMC-S-025 and/or MIL-HDBK-340A.

Experience with performance certification to AIAA S-113A-2016, AIAA S-110-2005, AIAA S-080-1998, AIAA S-081A-2006, MIL-STD-461G and/or MIL-STD-464C etc.
Salary Range: $104,400.00 - $156,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
