We are seeking an experienced project manager to align cross-functional pods and deliver exceptional user experiences across Rockbot products. We develop user-facing software and experiences that engage many customers using our unified platform with core media products such as music, signage, TV, and advertising. This job involves collaborating with software engineers, product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams, integrating their efforts into cohesive product updates and launches.

You will:

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and data teams to shape and execute quarterly initiatives. 
  • Communicate with clarity and precision to ensure alignment across different teams.
  • Ensures team adherence to Agile/Scrum principles
  • Coach team, including newly formed teams, on how to execute agile/scrum frameworks
  • Organizes and facilitates ceremonies, recommends and executes improvement opportunities to optimize velocity while mitigating risk
  • Tracks and communicates the overall team progress, providing visibility to stakeholders.
  • Create dashboards that often include metrics(ex: velocity, completion rates, or backlog health), milestones, deadlines and team assignments
  • Share retrospective summaries with post sprint reviews that articulate clear actionable steps to improve any challenges teams are facing.

You have:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in the software industry or in technical project management.
  • Familiarity with frameworks related to agile, scrum, SDLC and release processes
  • Strong technical project  management background with demonstrated experience leading large projects across multiple software teams, as well as building and supporting teams
  • You must thrive in a startup environment, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities with ease
  • Knowledge of software development and project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Wrike, Monday etc.
  • Experience in driving key  initiatives but also roll up your sleeves and get the job done

Compensation:

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $130K-$150K plus equity, and benefits for all team members.
