As a Product Engineer working directly in support of the NAND Product Development Team Leader, your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to propel new product development and spearhead the integration of solutions into actionable strategies and plans. In this capacity, you embody the NAND engineering team, engaging with strategic partners like business units, quality assurance, fabrication, testing, and supply chain to ensure a competitive time-to-market for the newest technology nodes, from silicon to system. This role is of significant impact, offering broad scope and high visibility. It presents the chance to contribute to Micron’s forthcoming generation of technology and product enablement alongside a committed and skilled cross-functional team.

Responsibilities :

  • Negotiate and align NAND requirement with business units and system partners and transform this requirement into unified success criteria document (SCD) which guides NAND development

  • Collaborate with Technology Development and Design teams to enable NAND for integration into internal systems and end customer applications.

  • Collaborate closely within product engineering and alongside business units, supply chain, planning, fabrication, assembly, and test operations teams to facilitate seamless engineering execution.

  • Accurately communicate priorities within NAND development team to maintain project schedules for on-time qualification.

  • Represent in product development review, lead cross-functional team meeting and collaborate for plans and changes required to achieve NAND best-in-class execution.

  • Lead the NAND capability milestone review to advance system development progress towards eventual customer product qual samples delivery.

  • Engage with complex problem solving with challenges coming from NAND-system interaction and guide the team towards the issue resolution.

Successful candidates for this position will possess and exhibit: :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics.

  • Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic individual eager to work in a diverse, global cross-functional engineering environment with focus on development.

  • Exhibits a growth mindset and possesses outstanding problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and organizational skills are crucial.

  • Prior experience in leading product development projects or acting in similar capacity would be of added advantage.

  • Desire to work on technical projects in collaboration with cross-functional engineering team in product development environment.

  • Good working knowledge of NAND design/device, validation, test flows and coverage, reliability or failure analysis with desire to expand knowledge into system product enablement, media management algorithm and system architecture.
