In this role, you'll design and develop cutting-edge batch applications and microservices using Java and SpringBoot for Google Cloud Platform, enhancing existing applications and driving new initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java batch applications and microservices for Google Cloud Platform

Enhance existing applications and contribute to new initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
-
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
-
Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, maintain high development and security standards

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and Java development
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in Java development

Strong proficiency in modern Java development (JDK 17+) and cloud computing concepts

Development experience for GCP or other cloud platforms

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
