Position Summary

We’re currently looking for a Senior Workers Compensation Analyst to join our team.
This role will be responsible for life of claim management & administration. This person will be instrumental in negotiating and managing claims, analyzing claims data and collaborating with our Third-Party Administrator (TPA), Safety, and Operations to reduce costs and financial exposure, manage liabilities and ensure compliance with government regulations.
This will be a HYBRID schedule in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday @ Bridgestone HQ (Nashville, TN).

Responsibilities

  • Review and document all worker’s compensation claims data, investigating cause of reported claims, and supporting the determination of compensability of all accidents/injuries.

  • Closely manage all in-house claims and collaborate with our Third-Party Administrator and other vendors.

  • Communicate effectively with teammates, internal customers, clients, outside counsel, and management.

  • Provide direction on claims dispositions, negotiations, reserve adequacy, and subrogation

  • Ensure reserve accuracy and action plans are defined.

  • Analyze, develop, and provide comprehensive reports to management identifying trends with recommendations strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required preferably in Risk Management, Insurance or a related field of study.

  • 5+ years full-time claims management experience with Retail/Manufacturing experience. 

  • Strong technical claims knowledge

  • Knowledge of insurance policy language and insurance coverage

  • Present and support training programs regarding workers compensation claims.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
