Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workday Consultant with expertise in both HR and Finance modules to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience configuring, developing, and maintaining Workday solutions, specifically within the HR and Finance platforms. This role involves working closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to deliver seamless integrations, optimize business processes, and ensure data integrity across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end configuration of Workday’s HR (HCM, Payroll, Core Compensation, Talent Management, Absence) and Finance modules (Financial Management, Procurement, Expenses, and Accounting).
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational goals.
- Configure and implement Workday business processes for HR (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Leave & Absence) and Finance (e.g., Financial Accounting, Procurement, Spend Management).
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations between HR and Finance systems, ensuring smooth and accurate data flow across both domains (e.g., integrating financial data with HR payroll and compensation processes).
- Develop and maintain custom Workday reports and analytics, utilizing Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics, and Workday BI, to support both HR and Finance decision-making and reporting needs.
- Configure security roles and permissions for both HR and Finance modules, ensuring compliance with internal security standards for sensitive financial and employee data.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across Workday HR and Finance systems by implementing and monitoring robust integration and validation processes.
- Provide ongoing support for post-production issues, troubleshooting and resolving defects across both HR and Finance modules.
- Lead Workday updates and enhancements across HR and Finance modules, managing deployment schedules and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional Workday solutions for both HR and Finance processes.
- Stay current on Workday releases and industry best practices to ensure our solutions remain innovative and aligned with business needs across both domains.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience configuring and developing Workday solutions, with a focus on both HR and Finance modules.
- Experience with Workday HR modules: Core HCM, Payroll, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management, and Reporting.
- Experience with Workday Finance modules: Financial Management (Accounting, Procurement, Expenses), Spend Management, Revenue Management, and Financial Reporting.
- Expertise in Workday reporting tools such as Report Writer, Prism Analytics, Workday BI, and custom report development.
- Strong understanding of Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Integration Cloud, Core Connectors, and third-party integrations between HR and Finance.
- Experience in configuring Workday security, including roles, permissions, and security groups for both HR and Finance users.
- Proven ability to configure financial structures in Workday, including Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, and related financial dimensions.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning modules within Workday.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions for both HR and Finance teams.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment and managing multiple stakeholders from both HR and Finance functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Workday full implementation for both HR and Finance modules, particularly across large or global deployments.
- Experience with advanced reporting tools such as Workday BI, Report Designer, and Prism Analytics.
- Certifications in Workday Financial Management and/or Workday HCM.
- Experience with Agile methodology and project management tools.
