About the role

As part of Marketing at Dremio, the Web Developer will be responsible for maintaining the web ecosystem of our marketing website and other properties.  This role involves leading website development and optimization efforts to deliver an engaging and high-performing experience for prospects, customers, and partners. Responsibilities include managing a cross-functional workflow using Asana, transforming designs into responsive, interactive web pages, and ensuring site performance through WP Engine and Google Analytics.

You will focus on compliance with tools like OneTrust, optimize for SEO, accessibility, and speed, and implement A/B testing to drive data-informed improvements. The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, and collaborative, with a passion for user experience, clean coding practices, and delivering measurable results. This role will report to the Director of Growth and partner closely with the entire marketing team to create and deliver.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain the website to create an engaging experience for prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to turn visual designs into seamless, responsive, and interactive pages.
  • Own the Asana board for all incoming web development requests and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Use WP Engine to manage hosting, updates, backups, and performance optimizations.
  • Integrate OneTrust to ensure compliance with privacy and cookie regulations.
  • Use Google Analytics to monitor website performance, track conversions, and analyze user behavior, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Optimize site for SEO, accessibility, and speed to increase visibility and improve user experience across devices and browsers.
  • Implement A/B testing and data-driven improvements to enhance lead generation and user engagement.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code, adhering to web development best practices.
  • Regularly deploy, test, and monitor website changes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in web development focused on B2B SaaS marketing websites.
  • Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap skills.
  • Experience with WP Engine for WordPress site management, including hosting, caching, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with OneTrust for privacy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on website performance and user engagement.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of Git version control.
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies or cloud services.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with motion graphic implementation to enhance visual storytelling and engagement.
  • Knowledge of parallax implementation and maintenance to elevate the user experience.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and performance optimization tools.

Return to Office Philosophy

Workplace Wednesdays - to break down silos, build relationships and improve cross-team communication. Lunch catering / meal credits provided in the office and local socials align to Workplace Wednesdays. In general, Dremio will remain a hybrid work environment. We will not be implementing a 100% (5 days a week) return to office policy for all roles.
