Who We're Looking For

You're a talented Video Editor & Virtual Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, content-driven environment. You’re not just cutting footage—you’re telling compelling, visually engaging stories that resonate across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and podcast formats.

You're comfortable working closely with a CEO and can take raw footage—whether it’s a talking head, a podcast clip, or a screen recording—and turn it into polished, professional content that captures attention from the first second. You know how to craft strong hooks, use b-roll effectively, and maintain a consistent visual identity across formats.

You’ve got a sharp eye for detail, excellent file organization habits, and a knack for understanding what performs well across short-form and long-form platforms. If you're experienced with CapCut, enjoy editing talking head-style videos, and have a bonus interest in social media strategy—this role is made for you.

What You’ll Do

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, podcast clips)
• Edit long-form video content (10-15 minute YouTube videos, podcast clips)
• Apply a consistent filter and 4K edits across all videos
• Maintain a sharp focus on talking head footage while slightly blurring the background
• Cut and arrange multiple 1-second clips to create an engaging hook in the first 3 seconds
• Implement upper/lower split-screen video (mixing CEO footage with relevant stock footage)
• Add b-roll, pop-ups, and overlays to support messaging
• Create greenscreen-style videos with background footage relevant to the discussion

Content Formatting & Optimization

• Ensure videos are optimized for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and podcast formats
• Format captions, subtitles, and on-screen text for maximum clarity and engagement
• Cut and repurpose long-form content into short-form clips with strong hooks

Content Strategy & Social Media Management (Bonus)

• Ability to take a long-form video and plan out its release strategy
• Determine which platforms the content should be published on (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Plan out accompanying stories, posts, and promotional content
• Social media management experience is a plus

Content Support

• Manage and organize raw footage, b-roll, and project files
• Assist the CEO with content scheduling and basic admin tasks related to video production
• Research and source relevant stock footage for b-roll
• Maintain an organized video library for easy access and reuse

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of experience in video editing (CapCut is mandatory)
• Experience with Premiere Pro (or similar software) is preferred
• Strong understanding of motion graphics, transitions, and text overlays
• Experience editing podcast videos (audio leveling, multi-camera editing)
• Deep understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn video, and social media trends
• Ability to tell a compelling story visually with fast-paced, engaging edits
• Experience with greenscreen editing and b-roll layering
• Familiarity with color correction, filters, and high-quality 4K video production
• Highly organized with good file management skills
• Ability to create 6-8 videos per week
• Bonus: Experience with social media content strategy or repurposing content for multiple platforms
