Who We're Looking For

As the Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will serve as a strategic member of the finance leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role will be responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, with the goal of providing data-driven insights to support informed decision-making and strategic business initiatives. You will play a key role in financial oversight for a defined segment of the organization, which may include a region, business unit, division, or functional area, depending on the candidate’s experience and organizational needs. This is a management role with direct reports and may involve oversight of multiple financial functions within the broader organizational structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Strategy:  Lead financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic and financial goals. Support senior leadership by developing financial models, analyzing business trends, and providing insights that shape both short- and long-term strategy.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering accurate and timely financial insights to guide business planning. Provide regular updates on financial performance and variance analysis to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial implications of business initiatives, helping to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and improvement.
  • Decision Support and Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis that support executive decision-making. Manage regular financial reporting requirements, ensuring insights are actionable and align with business priorities.
  • Financial Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement financial policies and practices that enhance operational efficiency and support the organization’s objectives. Ensure these practices are adapted to fit the specific business unit or function the role oversees.
  • Incentive Plan Administration: Oversee, where applicable, the administration of incentive plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance standards.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and develop a high-performing team by setting clear functional and individual objectives, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in relevant field
  • At least 8 years in a management position
  • Private equity backed company experience preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong & effective leadership skills
  • Telecommunications industry knowledge preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Innovative and creative when solving issues
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
