The Role
We are seeking a self-motivated and proactive Senior User Researcher to join our team on a FTC basis covering maternity leave.
The role will focus on the B2B side of the business, helping us better understand customer behaviors, needs, and motivations working closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to conduct qualitative research that informs our lead generation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead qualitative user research activities to answer B2B research questions and deliver actionable insights::
- Design qualitative user research using appropriate methods to answer the questions
- Plan and conduct in-depth semi-structured interviews to gather deep insights into customer needs, behaviors, and motivations.
- Plan and execute usability tests to evaluate user experiences and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform concept testing to assess new ideas, designs, and marketing strategies before full implementation.
- Analyze qualitative data to uncover patterns and generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with CRO (conversion rate optimisation) team to combine qualitative and quantitative insights
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to apply research insights to improve user experiences and conversion rates.
- Document research findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Work with key stakeholders across the organisation, act as voice of the customer and user, to help our B2B squad deliver user-centred solutions which also meet business goals
- Design and facilitate UX workshops, allowing teams to take action on the insights delivered
- Collaborate with the wider UX team to deliver effective and efficient work across the business
Qualifications and skills:
Required:
- Proven experience working as a Senior User Research in cross-functional teams delivering user-centred products
- Demonstrable application of qualitative research methods including in-depth user interviews, usability testing, both unmoderated and moderated
- Knowledge of quantitative research methods such as A/B and multivariate testing
- Comfortable using research platforms such as Userlytics and Dovetail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative data to generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with recruiting participants using a variety of methods, including online panels and engaging directly with real users
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with user-centered design fundamentals
- Ability to get up to speed and deliver quickly
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Psychology, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, Sociology, or a related field.
- Experience with marketing and lead generation or related industry
