Therefore, a dynamic and innovative design agency, is seeking a talented and passionate Senior UX Designer to join our remote team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of UX Research and a proven track record in leading the redesign of complex B2B and B2C web applications and websites. You will be at the forefront of designing intuitive and impactful digital experiences for a diverse range of projects, including travel clients' B2B and B2C user portals, CMS-managed corporate websites, multi-user disaster management applications, and advanced web search tools and information architecture structures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead qualitative stakeholder and user research workshops.
  • Translate ideas and aspirations into user journey maps, high-level concepts, and visual designs.
  • Lead the transformation of raw research data into meaningful scenarios, insights, and personas.
  • Collaborate with strategy and stakeholders in defining product requirements, KPIs and product releases/roadmaps.
  • Define and communicate interaction models.
  • Facilitate prototyping workshops and hacking sprints.
  • Utilize and adapt design systems in defining UI interactions and user journeys.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and information architectures to address user needs.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to conduct usability testing sessions.

Requirements

A qualified candidate will have:

  • 5+ years in the industry working on the full life cycle of complex web/mobile applications.
  • A demonstrable portfolio of data-informed digital design projects.
  • Experience leading UX research and discovery workshops, and gathering and evaluating user requirements.
  • Experience working with stakeholders in developing value proposition canvas, customer mapping, and identifying user journeys.
  • Expertise in illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot UX and CX issues.
  • Extensive experience developing design systems for interactive interfaces.
  • Ability to action on layout adjustments based on user feedback.
  • Apply a human-centred design methodology approach and best practices to ensure that client needs and business goals are met and on-brand.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Five years of industry experience as a user-experience professional. Direct, hands-on experience in conducting research and designing interfaces.
  • Expert in Figma (and FigJam)
  • Strong portfolio with a range of projects that shows:
    • You have a strong command of design principles and processes.
    • Creative talent as well as refined design expertise.
  • Post-secondary degree in design, marketing, data sciences, business or related field.
  • You have demonstrated leadership in defining and iterating best practices and successfully implemented changes to the design process.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS.
