We take this mission seriously and we take our team dynamics equally seriously. The Woven City UX & Design team consists of three UX disciplines: UX design, UX research, and UX technology. We use the latest technologies such as Digital Twin to turn ideas into reality and uncover meaningful and unexpected connections between people, technology, and the environment.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
As a Senior UX Designer - UX & Design Team, you will work with multi different digital product R&D teams in WCM, design firms and design contractors, to deliver holistic experience design, to make sure that experiences at Woven City will become truly represents our core values, visions, and most importantly ideal work and living experience for future residents, researchers / workers, collaborators, and visitors.
We are looking for someone who is well versed in the production phase of digital and physical products and has a proven track record of building products to launch. These digital products need to be closely connected to the physical experience and the city environment, not just the digital product on its own.
You will report to the lead of function and the work style is hybrid (office and remote).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the development of the best experience design through our digital and physical product for Woven City as an test infrastructure of multi different future mobilities
- Responsible for UX development for inventor’s own products and services will be developed at Woven City
- (To provide support to accompany the development of Inventor products to make it more human-centered and provide a better experience)
- Deliver multi different products with in high design quality that by reaching consensus with all stakeholders involved
- Co-work with Physical Product Design, UX Planning, UX Research, and UX Tech teams to ensure to make great experiences for people who live and visit the city
- Inspire WCM cross-functional teams to deliver Human-Centered approaches
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in product design development and 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary UX teams at user-centered technology at enterprise companies
- Proven expert knowledge of UX design, Service Design, and visual design principles and practices, to demonstrable success in creating, launching, scaling, and maintaining software products
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a proactive approach, a unique perspective, and an open mind to see things from different angles
- Excellent communication skills, encompassing the ability to speak the language of business and design simultaneously, while effectively engaging with diverse audiences through verbal, written, and visual/presentational means
- Business level Japanese and English language proficiency
- Strong ability with design tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Flutter, etc.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience developing and maintain web creative for desktop and mobile
- Strong practical knowledge of Design Thinking Process, User-Centered Design methodologies and usability principles
- Familiarity with React, Flutter, MUI framework, WCAG, Supernova documentation
