About the role

As a Sr. Unity Gameplay Engineer, you will play an important role in developing a real-time multiplayer game, designing and building gameplay features and reusable systems for games that will last for years, and collaborating and exchanging knowledge with multiple teams of talented and multidisciplinary developers. You will assist in scope definition, planning, and work estimation; create and evaluate technical documents and processes to ensure the highest quality product.

What you’ll achieve

  • Drive architectural and design decisions and produce Tech Design Documents.
  • Write and maintain long-lasting, high-quality code throughout the development of the game.
  • Instrument, profile, and analyze client code to identify and fix complex bugs and performance issues
  • Plan and estimate tasks as needed and deliver on the timeline you set.
  • Operate as an effective and supportive member of a cross-discipline game development team.
  • Share best practices with engineers within your team and the organization.

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience with software engineering in the games industry
  • Experience developing mobile games with Unity3D
  • Strong proficiency in C#, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns, with a focus on SOLID principles.
  • Strict adherence to developing with unit and integration testing in mind
  • High-energy, hands-on individual with attention to detail and comfortable in an agile environment.
  • Must be proactive, self-directed, and organized.
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics and design principles
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal, is required for effective communication across our global team.
