This role will be responsible for providing administrative and underwriting support to the underwriting team within the E&O Division which includes LPL.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:

Processing policies: Pull binder, pull and edit each endorsement’s Word doc, convert to PDF, combine PDFs, verify policy before sending, file documentation electronically

Processing endorsements: pull and edit each endorsement’s Word doc for monied and non-monied endorsements, create invoices [when necessary], process through USPI, send endorsement and invoice to broker; file documentation electronically

Booking accounts: Confirm all binder information is accurate in Duckcreek and Prima before advancing the policy to the billing phase. [Must be comfortable navigating an Excel environment]

Processing BORs: edit form letter for both the original and selected broker, send letters to the appropriate brokers, and update the records in USPI; file documentation electronically

Status report: Excel-based report that informs team of financial and quantitative underwriting efforts on number of and value of submissions, quotes, bound/booked accounts, and post-bind transactions – heavy data manipulation, including: accessing several different sources, data transfer, reformatting, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, formulas, VLOOKUPs.

Run reports out of Prima, Duckcreek and PowerBI [an Excel based report]

Provide general assistance and correspondence to underwriters, brokers, and other internal departments [billing, claims, operations, etc.]
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:

Knowledge of Professional Liability insurance industry E&O and LPL (preferred)

Basic knowledge of insurance company operations, or similar experience.
Experience:
-
10 plus years experience in the professional/management liability marketplace or other Insurance experience

Prior Insurance Company or MGU experience (preferred)

Prior E&O and LPL experience preferred.

Experience working with support services, including IT and operations
