Background
At Udio, our mission is to enable the next generation of music creators with state-of-the-art AI tools. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will help design and build the tools and interfaces that millions of users use to create and share world-class music.
Our founding team is composed of world-leading AI researchers, formerly of Google DeepMind. Between the founders, they have 4 PhDs, degrees from Harvard, Oxford, Mila, and Edinburgh, and industry experience at DeepMind, Google, Nvidia, Dropbox, Yext, and more.

Role Description
From day one, you will be making fundamental contributions to our growing suite of AI applications.
Join our dynamic team as a UI/UX Designer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of user interactions here at Udio. You will have access to cutting-edge tools and technologies, allowing you to explore bold ideas and push the envelope of design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, from developers to product managers, ensuring that your vision is seamlessly brought to life.

Core Technical Competencies
The following competencies suggest you'll be a good candidate for this role. You don't need to meet all the criteria below, but the more you meet the better!
- 8+ years experience designing interactive user experiences on consumer products for web and mobile.
- Comfort with ambiguity. Ability to rapidly ideate and create prototypes.
- Ability to leverage user research and data to drive design decisions
- Expertise in Figma. Skills in animated prototyping and building/maintaining design systems components.
- Designed for creator centric products in the past a plus.
Nice to haves:
- Music, Gaming industry experience
- Understanding of music production and associated tools
