Job Description

Role Overview 

We are seeking a Senior UI Engineer to drive the development of high-quality user interfaces. This role requires technical expertise in Unreal Engine 5 UI frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor fellow UI engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and optimize UI systems using C++, UMG, and Slate. 

• Architect scalable UI frameworks that integrate seamlessly with gameplay and backend services. 

• Enhance UI performance and memory efficiency, ensuring smooth interaction and rendering. 

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other UI engineers, fostering best practices. 

• Collaborate closely with designers and artists to translate UX concepts into interactive and immersive UI elements. 

Nice-to-Have Skills 

• Experience with Noesis, Scaleform, or other UI middleware. 

• Knowledge of motion design, shader-based UI effects, or procedural UI animations. 

• Familiarity with backend integration for UI systems (Live Ops, telemetry, analytics-driven UI updates). 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UI engineering for games. 

• Expertise in C++ and Blueprint scripting within Unreal Engine 4/5. 

• Deep understanding of UMG, Slate, and Common UI frameworks. 

• Experience shipping at least one AAA console or PC game as a UI engineer. 

• Knowledge of UI rendering, localization, and platform certification requirements (TCR/TRC).
