The management responsibilities are in addition to job specific accountabilities for objectives such as setting direction and developing business & operational areas, developing policies & practices, and implementing business plans. The planning horizon can vary from short to long term dependent on the career stage and goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and/or indirect reports. Progression within this stream reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.Job Level Definition:A colleague at this level contributes to wider decision making including the development of practices, processes and procedures. They have knowledge and understanding of the business, their own functional area and interdependencies with other functions. They work independently within a broad framework, with a clear level of authority and solves complex challenges based on accurate identification of underlying factors/causes. They have awareness of the potential impact a proposed solution might have outside their own immediate area and will work cross functional to mitigate as needed. Leaders at this level develop departmental plans based on the functional strategy and execute through a team of professionals. They develop team members by coaching and mentoring to drive performance and build talent pipelineExpectation from the Role:Own and drive the BI PMO function including and not limited to:PMO role (50-60%)

  • Planning, organising, coordinating, controlling and communicating, for the BI product inventory
  • Prioritization of the BI product initiatives
  • Resource allocation discussions to the product priorities
  • Maintaining Risk and Issue logs for the product priorities
  • Periodic Progress updates and highlighting Risks to the leadership team for all product priorities
  • Facilitating toll gate reviews and signoffs for phases of product development
  • Own and maintain the progress through the project management platform like Jira
  • Maintain the BI product inventory as a custodian of BI products

Performance mgmt. Role (20 – 30%)

  • Facilitate the strategy development discussions and planning and review offsites for BI
  • Own and facilitate the monthly cadence of performance mgmt. For all BI resources
  • Build and own the monthly BI dashboard to highlight the progress and performance on BI goals and initiatives
  • Own the monthly BI memo to the leadership team and the BI community

Communication mgmt. (20%)

  • Own and drive the communication plan for BI
  • Create and circulate the monthly BI newsletter
  • Build products catalogue and communicate with the User community and stakeholders for increasing their uptake
