About the Role

Activities such as OTA and Wire Updated are high focus to our customer, for this reason the activities are to be internalized to Harman from outsource company.

Team should provide results to the customer on a strict schedule with different type of builds. Results are obtained by performing tests on multiple test benches in parallel, for this reason this role requires high organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Your Team

This role will report to Manager System Test and to Project Leader System Test

What You Will Do

  • Execute manual and automated Tests for presented software releases

  • Review software specifications and testing procedures

  • Create and update documentation for the testing procedures

  • Create detailed result reports of the executed test cases

  • Analyze error logs to help identify the root cause of a failure

  • Follow bug reporting and tracking process

  • Create, update and review Test Cases and Test Suites

  • Develop and maintain tools to automate the testing process

  • Ensure consistency and traceability of the software with the software test specifications

  • Contribute to the development of the System Test Strategy

  •  Act according to the standards of the Automotive industry and in car applications

  • Report results and participate in Customer strategy meetings

  • Coordinate and supervise activities of team members

What You Need

  • University Degree in Engineering (Electrical engineering, Information Technology or similar)

  • At least 4 years of working experience in testing

  • Driving License category B for at least 5 years

  • User level Linux experience (basic knowledge)

  • Comprehensive knowledge about SW update procedures

  • Communication protocols understanding

  • Hardware configuration capabilities

  • High sense of responsibility

  • Knowledge of embedded software systems

  • Ability to document comprehensively and concisely

What Makes You Eligible

  • Ability to work from office a minimum of 50% of the time

  • This position requires the use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle.  As such, any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record, which will be evaluated and determined in HARMAN’s sole discretion, no more than 4 active points for moving violations (issued by any motor vehicle agency), and no references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.
