Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer in Boston, MA to design test strategies and implement test cases for complex hybrid distributed enterprise middleware Infomediary Systems, including functional, regression, platform, compliance, message queuing, back-out, cryptography, and load testing. Create reusable test configurations. Build new and modify existing test scripts for test cases. Design and execute automation frameworks. Integrate the test framework with DevOps continuous integration. Debug, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain web applications. Perform data mining operations to extract test data from distributed network file systems. Develop Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to decompress, extract, and combine multiple test data into a single source and to transfer data across network servers securely. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related IT field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in: Programming, Scripting, and Markup Languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Hyper Text Markup Language, Extended Markup Language, JavaScript Object Notion, and Cascaded Style Sheets; Web Development and Automation Framework, including Selenium, Junit, TestNg, Gherkin, Cucumber, Rational Test Virtualization Server, Parasoft, SoapUI, Rational Integration Tester, and Curl; Testing Methodologies, including Behavior Driven Development, Test Driven Development, Waterfall, and Agile; Application Lifecycle Management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development, and Source Code Management, including Rally, Jira, Confluence, HP ALM, Jenkins, Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket; Database Management Systems, including Oracle, SQL, SQLite, Data Definition Language, Data Manipulation Language, Stored Procedure, Triggers, and Indexes.
