How you'll make an impact:
- Developing and maintaining product documents involving User Guides, FAQs, Onboarding Guides, Troubleshooting Guides, Training Manuals, Release Notes, and other product documentation.
- Working with the engineering teams in an Agile environment to audit and update the documentation regularly to ensure relevance with product feature releases, customer use cases, support issues and other internal developments.
- Researching and translating technical information into web-based or manual documents for non-technical and technical users.
- Identifying user needs and working with customer base to resolve issues relating to documentation.
- Managing the production and publishing of documentation.
- Contributing to and adopting best-in-class practices for new age SaaS product documentation including in-app guides and video tutorials.
- Working with Product and Design teams to evaluate and develop UX content and microcopy for the AiDash product portfolio.
- Working with Engineering and Data Science teams to develop content for technology blogs covering various aspects of technology, data science, and geo-spatial technologies.
- Operational testing of documentation; working with other team members for proofreading and editing.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Communication or a related stream.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical content writing covering UI content, Product Documentation and API documentation.
- Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC) and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content.
- Skilled in tools required for technical documentation- XML editors (preferably Madcap Flare), PDF editors, Image editors, and Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable to users in the form of text.
- Excellent command over written and verbal communication.
- Prior experience with SaaS products or Big Data / AI / ML Platforms is a plus.
