KONE SEA is embarking upon an exciting growth and as such we are seeking Technical Support Specialist for Non-KONE Product (Elevator & Escalator) to join our team in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand.
Senior Technical Support Specialist is the first point of contact in technical queries and provides remote technical support during the maintenance phase of non-KONE products. They support maintenance technicians in resolving technical issues, working to ensure products are maintained in compliance with KONE’s safety, process and quality requirements.
They are experts in non-KONE products and solutions and report to the Technical Helpdesk Troubleshooter, KSEA
What will you be doing?
Technical help desk and site support services :
- Provide remote or on-site technical support for maintenance troubleshooting, drive commissioning, parameter programming in consultation with Non-KONE Equipment (NKE) networks or NKE Global team – Lifts and Escalators.
- Provide support during Non-KONE Equipment (NKE) site survey for new portfolio acquisition to SER Supervisors or THD Engineer (activity relates to Circuit diagrams, tools, critical equipment checks, sparepart availability, type of drives, other learning for correct estimation of maintenance cost).
- Joint set-up, manage and improve standards and procedures with THD team in the aspect of NKE.
- Coordinate needed competence development in field organization related to new technologies.
- Integration and conversion of site activity from NKE to KONE Controllers in Modernization Business.
- Prior experience in commissioning others lift make – complete testing & commissioning of lift and people flow solutions.
Training:
- Train local technicians (within KSEA Country) during site visits and/or deliver scheduled training sessions for Non-KONE equipments (NKE) topics.
- Co-operate with and provide expertise to local training centers in training courses
- Conduct NKE expert assessment for KONE employee who joined from other lift makers.
- Provide input to L&D about competencies development needs in field team.
Quality:
- Create quality reports in to THD tool after remote support and/or site visits and list issues which require corrective actions
- Identify proactively root causes for the issues and forward corrective actions according to KONE process requirements (e.g. trainings, guidelines, field letters etc.)
- COR review / identify units for Clinica visits
Safety
- Be aware and operate within KONE safety requirements
Are you the one?
- Technical experience from elevator & escalator industries with minimum 4 years
- Proven spares project implementation and change management experience (minimum 3 years)
- Diploma or Bachelor degree from Electrical or Mechanical
- Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
- IT literacy
- Willing to travel
- Technical understanding of elevators/escalators/doors spare parts where applicable non-KONE products.
