The Senior Technical Recruiter plays a crucial role in Pie's growth by developing and executing strategies to identify, attract, and engage top talent, with a focus on passive candidate outreach and innovative sourcing strategies. Managing candidate flow through the applicant tracking system (ATS), Greenhouse, is essential for maintaining an organized and efficient recruitment process. This role leverages a deep understanding of functional corporate and business areas to effectively communicate Pie's value proposition to candidates, ensuring they receive a world-class experience throughout the recruitment journey. Additionally, the recruiter understands candidates' needs to present market-competitive offers that align with their expectations. Partnering with hiring teams, executives, leaders, and the Director of Talent, the recruiter creates and distributes job postings, coaches hiring leaders, manages kickoff meetings, interview panels, and debrief sessions, and builds strong relationships with client groups.
How You’ll Do It
Manage Full-Cycle Recruiting Process:
- Develop strategies to identify, attract and engage with the best talent with a focus on passive candidate outreach and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Manage candidate flow through our applicant tracking system (ATS), Greenhouse, GEM, Modernloop for scheduling and other tools.
- Leverage a good understanding of functional corporate and business areas and how they work together in order to articulate this clearly to candidates.
- Provide all Pie prospects and candidates with a world class experience.
- Understand the candidate’s needs to present a market competitive offer with candidate expectations in mind.
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with hiring teams to understand their organizational objectives and drive hiring plans to achieve them.
- Partner with Executives, Leaders and the Director of Talent to create postings and distribute across our job posting platforms and social media.
- Coach hiring leaders and guide them throughout the recruiting process.
- Manage the kick-off, interview panel and debrief session. Develop strong relationships and partnerships with hiring groups.
Team Project & Process Contributions:
- Proficient with team processes. Improve & own productivity. Positive influence on the team.
- Identifies and may lead process improvements in collaboration with relevant team members and stakeholders.
- Can manage a fluctuating workload capacity and complexity.
- Supports talent brand, external events and project work that continues to develop and enhance Pie’s recruitment and brand development.
The Right Stuff
- High School diploma or GED is required, and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with some college coursework is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Talent (sourcing, full lifecycle recruiting) is required.
- Strong communications skills: Advanced communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, to deliver complex information effectively and align people with the needs of the team or role. Demonstrated ability to articulate the team member value proposition to candidates and write a compelling pitch email to prospective candidates, required. Can deliver difficult or disappointing decisions in a clear but professional manner.
- Strong business acumen, required. Ability to use business acumen when problem solving in order to resolve simple problems quickly and effectively.
- Experience with G-Suite Tools, Collaboration tools (slack is preferred), ATS (Greenhouse), LinkedIn Recruiter, StackOverflow, GitHub, Hiretual, Gem preferred.
- Developed self-direction and responsibility for own tasks, deliverables and timelines.
Base Compensation Range
$115,000—$145,000 USD

Location Information
Unless otherwise specified, this role has the option to be hybrid or remote. Hybrid work locations provide team members with the flexibility of working partially from our Denver office and from home. Remote team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
