Senior Technical Project Manager 

Role Summary 

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager who will serve as a subject matter expert in Supply Chain management functions. The Senior Technical Project Manager should have a deep domain knowledge of the SCM functional areas (Procurement, Planning, Item Master, Logistics, Warehouse Management) and expertise in the implementation of the Oracle SCM modules. This role will be filled by an experienced technologist in the Supply Chain systems area, specifically with designing, deploying, and supporting the relevant products and applications that meet the needs of the business of large-scale video distribution in the entertainment and communications industry. 

Key Results Area 

• SME for the target applications to support the implementation of the SCM functionalities and business capabilities 

• Help define and support a list of the company’s capabilities and business requirements tied to each of the functional areas 

• Ensure requirements are inspected and of good quality to enable streamlined execution using the target application 

• Mapping of the company’s capabilities and business requirements to product modules and defining and supporting MVP capabilities and implementation roadmap 

• Participate in planning activities e.g., PI planning, solution syncs, and portfolio reviews to anticipate and understand dependencies between SCM initiatives and the Oracle platform; ensure these dependencies are tracked and prioritized for implementation 

• Drive quality with our vendor partner teams, System Integrators, and Delivery teams to partner; ensure the resources provided are of the appropriate quality, aid in the execution of the prioritized work deliverables 

• Participate in resolving technical roadblocks and challenges in delivering capabilities. 

• Build relationships with vendor teams and contacts; be an expert on the Oracle SCM product suite and be educated on the product roadmap 

• Help identify opportunities for savings and valuable investments 

• Collaborate and support internal PM teams to help with overall project management functions 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e.: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content) 

• 7+ years of experience in end-to-end implementation of projects including design, configuration, testing, training, and reporting of system accuracies 

•  10+ years of overall IT experience 

•  Strong financial experience including but not limited to creating, tracking, and managing a budget 

• Excellent knowledge of signal delivery, signal broadcast, and streaming systems 

• Summarize, document, and present technical information in verbal and written form 

• Managing customer- Business and Technical Acumen 

•  Deliver projects in a fast-paced environment 

•  Experience in writing SOWs 

•  Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
