The Esports team plays a pivotal role in designing and bringing to life the most amazing esports products for the community. They contribute to creating exceptional experiences that resonate with users and elevate the world of esports.

Join our Global Production and Operations team as a Senior Technical Project Manager, where you’ll play a key role in organizing and executing our live and recorded broadcasts, whether from the studio or on location. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with the Broadcast Engineering team to prepare for productions, enhance workflows, and drive innovation by integrating new features into our broadcast processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily production needs by creating essential documentation, including flow charts and technical riders
  • Develop and review investment proposals for broadcast equipment
  • Foster innovation within ESL’s engineering and technology departments
  • Collaborate with technical and editorial teams to create efficient, scalable workflow improvements
  • Implement innovative solutions in the broadcast production setup
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to assess their capabilities, ensuring they meet the specific needs of production projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any challenges that arise
  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and production needs
  • Conduct post-project budget reviews to analyze variances and inform future budgeting strategies
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of engineering experience in TV production for live sports or entertainment
  • Strong technical and operational knowledge of broadcast equipment from leading brands
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage vendors, freelancers, and technical event crews
  • Familiarity with video and audio infrastructure at all levels of TV production
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritizing based on scope and deadlines
  • Knowledge of the competitive esports industry and its events is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure, with experience in project management
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role
