Senior Technical Program Manager

Business Operations Bank (aka BizOps Bank) is the fictitious, synthetic financial institution that is the customer using Mastercard products and services. BizOps Bank is a multi-national financial institution spanning the globe and has individual and corporate customers who use the bank's deposit, loan and treasury services.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to oversee both our Biz Ops Bank and Chaos engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving initiatives to successful completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of both business operations and engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Biz Ops Bank and Chaos engineering teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project execution and delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Monitor and report on program performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of business operations, transaction flow, and chaos engineering principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of JIRA and other project management tools is helpful.
• Experience with agile methodologies and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
