What You'll Do

The Senior Technical Architect is a vital part of Epic’s success to ensure our systems can integrate successfully and assist with harnessing data insights. We are looking for someone with expertise in Workday to design, build and maintain integrations that connect multiple applications and business processes, focusing on Workday. This role will have experience leveraging Workday Core Connectors, Studio, EIBs and middleware.

In this role, you will

  • Configure and develop integrations to connect business systems using Workday Studio, Workday RaaS Integrations, BIRT, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Web Services (SOAP and WSDL), XML, XSLT and/or Workato
  • Build complex custom reports and calculated fields
  • Partner closely with the functional and business teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle
  • Provide production support for Workday integrations by researching integration failures, performing root cause analyses, and reporting back to functional and business leaders.
  • Understand data flows and system usage between internal systems and Workday, driving alignment with other system owners
  • Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience working in Workday Integrations including financial, benefits, payroll, HR, and other connectors
  • 5+ years experience developing custom Workday reports and complex calculated fields
  • 5+ years experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse partners throughout the organization
  • Strong level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with confidential data and business information and initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Enthusiastic about solving complex, system-to-system integration problems
  • Experience in Workday Extend based application implementations
  • Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking or Performance Management
  • Strong working knowledge of Workato or other middleware tools and experience in Workday Prism Analytics

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

New York City Base Pay Range

$151,565$222,295 USD

California Base Pay Range

$142,470$208,956 USD

Washington Base Pay Range

$142,470$208,956 USD
